Samsung Z – First Tizen Smartphone Launched with Quad core Processor

Samsung has finally announced their first Tizen powered smartphone – Samsung Z. The handset was grabbing much attention since its first hear. Though it was known before that Samsung will soon launch their first ever Tizen project but continues delays were breaking our faith. A sudden launch of Samsung Z – first Tizen powered handset is a witness of new beginning for the South Korean company Samsung. Samsung’s latest premium handset Samsung Z is built with a cutting-edge technology and runs on Tizen 2.2.1 OS. Samsung Z is powered by 2.3GHz quad core processor coupled with 2 GB RAM. It completes with 4.8 inch HD Super AMOLED display. 16 GB internal memory can be expanded via microSD card. Samsung Z has 8 MP rear camera and 2.1 MP front facing camera. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.0 and LTE support.

Samsung Z also carries some TouchWiz features like Ultra Power Saving mode, Download Booster, S Health 3.0 and fingerprint Sensor. Samsung Z assures a faster startup time and lag free multi-tasking. Samsung Z supports 2D and 3D graphic qualities, smoother scrolling and improved rendering performance of web browsing. Samsung Z is the better option for those who want to use something different from Android, iOS and Windows like UI. Sharp angular edges, slim and a unique design are some of the traits of design that differ Samsung Z from other smartphones. The company will also launch Tizen Store along with Samsung Z.

Back in May,2014, we got to know via evleaks that Samsung is working on 4 Tizen based devices. Since then no other news came in limelight. Detail of all the model numbers is as follows – SM-Z500, SM-Z700, SM-Z900 and SM-Z910. Not only this, some experts caught an image of alleged Tizen device – SM-Z9005 called it to be the first Tizen based device but no single detail is going parallel with Samsung Z. The leaked image holds a big 5-inch screen with curvy edges; this is totally opposite to Samsung Z.

Samsung wanted to attain the full control on the market. Samsung is well known for their hardware. The company wanted to rule the rest of the market. Keeping the similar thought in the mind, Samsung started this partnership two years back. And now it seems like Samsung Z will become a key force to develop another Tizen powered handsets.

Samsung Z will be available in Russia in Q3. The first Tizen powered smartphone from Samsung will come in two colors – Black and Gold. Samsung detailed full key specs of Samsung Z through their official press blog. No word on pricing details yet; the price of Samsung Z is still unknown.
